What do I wear to my appointment?
Your first appointment requires you to wear comfortable clothes you can move, as we will be assessing your movement and imbalances in your posture. We will also teach some self-care techniques and corrective exercise, which will be much easier if you are in comfortable clothes that allow free movement. You may change at our clinic if it is more convenient for you.
What is your cancellation policy?
At Dynamic Therapeutics, LLC, we understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, and illness are just a few of the reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all our clients, and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:
- In most cases, a 24-hour advance notice is required when canceling an individual appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to avail themselves of our services.
- If you are unable to give us the minimum 24-hours) advance notice, and we are unable to fill your time slot, you will be charged the full amount of what would have been your treatment fee. This fee must be paid in full prior to your next treatment.
- If we are able to fill your time slot with somebody else, you will not be charged for that missed appointment.
Anyone who either forgets or chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show”. They will be charged for their “missed” appointment, and future service will be denied until payment is made.
Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers: Please plan accordingly in order to be on time.
How long is the session?
Your session lengths are determined after a comprehensive assessment is completed and discussed between you and your therapist. Session lengths vary from 30 min to 2 hours.
Do I have to come every week?
The frequency of your visits are also determined and discussed during your initial assessment. Depending on your injury and the type of care you require, the number of sessions and frequency will correspond with the best approach to your treatment and recovery.
What is the difference between medical massage and massage therapy?
There is a fine line of difference between the two that medical massage is more focused towards a specific problem or injury whereas a wellness massage is completely therapeutic in nature and works for relieving stress.
